What You Need to Know

You'll earn AIA Vitality Points in the fitness category if you exercise at a specific intensity, for a specific time.

Earn up to 100 AIA Vitality Points each day

For workouts tracked using Strava

You can earn up to 15,000 AIA Vitality Points for all fitness-related activities (including gym workouts, fitness device tracking and organised fitness events). Once you have linked your device to AIA Vitality, points take up to 2 weeks to show on your AIA Vitality Points Statement.

The table below shows the number of points you earn when you exercise at the required heart rate with Strava. If your heart rate data is not available, we will award you points based on the average speed of your exercise.

Heart Rate Data AIA Vitality Points

At least 30 minutes of physical activity in one exercise session a day at an average heart rate of more than 60% of your age-related maximum heart rate.

The table below shows the number of points you earn for the speed data we receive from Strava.
If your speed data is not available, we will award you points based on your heart rate during exercise.

A maximum of 100 points will be awarded for one download a day. If you complete two fitness activities in 1 day, then the higher points between the two will be awarded.
Example: Jane downloads the Strava app and links her Strava account to AIA Vitality. Her app collects heart rate and speed data. Jane takes part in a minimum of 30 minutes of physical activity in one exercise session. She exercises at a minimum average speed of 4 kilometres an hour and an average heart rate of more than 60% of her age-related maximum heart rate. She uploads her exercise data to AIA Vitality.
Jane will earn 50 points that day for her exercise session for meeting one of the criteria from either her heart rate data or speed data.
